Goddess Meekakshi is a form of Goddess Durga. She is adored in the name of Shiva’s spouse. There is a gigantic temple of Goddess Meenakshi at Madurai in Tamilnadu. She is devotedly adored in the South India. This temple has five Gopurams in it and has a vast land where a big market is housed.
