Lord Murugan also called Karthikeya or Kartikeyan is the younger son of Lord Shiva (One of the Trinity of the Hindus). He is one of the most adorable gods of Hindus, especially in South India. He is the only Lord who has six Kshetras. Lord Muruga is a re-incarnation of Lord Shiva. His Vahana (vehicle-carrier) is Peacock. He is also known as Kumara, Kandha, Kadhirvela, Subramanya, Saravana and Gnanapandhidha.
